Will you build me a custom, start from scratch shopping cart?
I could, but that sort of thing is very time intensive. Building a website takes me no time at all. As a result I won't build a shopping cart from scratch due to family obligations, but I can get you a discount on a good prebuilt cart.
If you build my site/get me a secure server certificate/help me with a domain name, who owns it?
You do. All I ask for is a very small "built by" button on the bottom of your website. Nothing is required for certificates or domains, but I'd always appreciate a link.
Can you teach me web design personally?
I provide links to great learning resources because, as I discovered when I thought I might train to be a teacher, I just don't have the patience. Trust me, you don't want me to teach you myself. I tend to grab the mouse too much.
Can you give me contact information for your clients?
No. I also don't comment on any current or past clients, especially when it comes to personal information.
